I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist in California, Oregon and Texas (CA license #49075, OR license #1573, TX license #203496). I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist-Supervisor and a Certified Daring Way Facilitator. I am also trained in EMDR and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Most recently I served as the Vice President of Clinical Programming for Monte Nido & Affiliates, an organization where I worked for almost 13 years. My eating disorder training was done under the supervision and mentorship of Carolyn Costin, founder of Monte Nido and pioneer in the field.

 

Prior to making my way to therapy, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Journalism. I worked in magazine editorial, television production and marketing/advertising.
